Nathan joined Lake Law Firm in March 2021 as an associate attorney and self-proclaimed ‘learn-it-all’ where he continues to grow and expand his legal experience. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from WMU Cooley Law School in 2020, where he was the recipient of various merit-based awards and recognitions, as well as an active member and competitor of both the Tampa Bay Moot Court Board and Tampa Bay Mock Trial Board, serving as the Chief Justice and President respectively. He also volunteered at Thomas M. Cooley Law School’s Debt Relief Clinic guiding indigent clients through the process of Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. Prior to law school, he graduated from Indiana University majoring in Political Science, and spent a semester abroad at Mannheimer Abendakademie und Volkshochschule GmbH in Mannheim, Germany studying German Language.
Nathan has been nurturing his passion for law from a young age as he watched his late father’s nearly 40-year legal career flourish. He was inspired to pursue a legal career himself by his inherent “passion for using law to discover truth and serve justice.” He enjoys serving his community and advocating for his clients’ best interests – legally, ethically, morally, and financially. Outside of the office, Nathan trades in his suit and tie for hiking shoes and a backpack, as he enjoys being in the great outdoors, soaking up all of the nature and travel that he can.
